Photography has long been my passion and in addition to capturing my amazing clients and the daily lives of my family, I am always looking for opportunities to grow and challenge myself to look at photography through new perspectives. As such I am excited to be participating in a monthly blog circle again for 2013 with a fabulous group of ladies from ClickinMoms.
With a variety of monthly themes I know it will be perfect for helping me continue my growth as a photographer. Our theme this month is “Close-Up Portraiture” and I had a great time practicing on the beautiful Jada. As a photographer I see the end result in my head most often seconds before I press the shutter on my camera and typically I take a step back to give more space to the composition and flexibility when printing. For this theme I was challenged to do the opposite, to step closer to my subject and capture more of those personal details that can get lost in a more loosely cropped image and I have to admit I love what I found! Now head on over to Katrice’s site The Pink Beam to see her Up-Close perspective.
