Sometimes despite loads of planning, little hiccups can still arise with a session. A little hiccup such as arriving at the gorgeous location I meticulously scouted for our session, only to find it completely surrounded with big ugly fencing and a “closed for construction” sign just minutes before my clients were to arrive! Ummmm yikes!
Fortunately this family was so sweet and easy-going and within a short time we found a new location to shoot at. Our lovely golden hour light was disappearing fast, but we were still able to capture this adorable family for their Custom Mini-Session. I love the challenge of photographing families in a new location I haven’t shot in before and I was pleased with the sweet moments of interaction we were able to capture.
Freezing those giggles and tickles between dad and his son or the hugs and snuggles between mom and her little one are one of my favorite parts of family photography and why I’m so blessed to be a family photographer. I hope you enjoy some of the images from our session I’m sharing today and I can’t wait to photograph this family again as the children grow!
