Phone photography is not something I’ve been used to until just recently. In fact, up until this past April my archaic flip phone with no data plan and no way to share photos served as exactly that…a phone. No camera, no instant connection to social media and no Google maps to help me when I was lost. But in April, a whole new corner of the photography world was revealed to me as I finally had a smartphone and a little camera with me at all times!
This month’s theme for our monthly Clickin Mom’s blog circle was to share images taken with our phones. I do not proclaim to be a fabulous iphone-ographer. I do not have any fancy lenses for my phone and will not be wowing you with my incredible skill with my iphone. I will, however, share with you a slight glimpse into the deepest parts of my heart as I share with you some extraordinary moments that occurred this month and that I was able to capture forever thanks to having my little phone nearby.
Moments like the joy of celebrating my 34th birthday and
my daughter wanting to hold my hand while she ate her cereal:
My early-bird son sleeping past 9am for the first time in his life without being sick:
My daughter’s sleep-walking landing her in the middle of the hallway:
Mutual adoration between my daughter and her Grammy:
Total abandon to the sand and sea:
Our children doing their summertime workbooks even while on vacation:
Exploring a new library and world of books:
Cousins sharing a morning cartoon:
That night they dug in the mud in their jammies:
