Last Fall I held my seasonal photo mini-sessions, a short photo session meant to capture just a few family photos and some individual photos. Most people love these sessions for capturing recent family photos they can share in their Christmas cards or holiday newsletters sent to family and friends.
People love holiday mini-sessions because they are the best value (last year’s were $200 which included the session and 10 digital files along with a custom Facebook timeline cover) and come at the perfect time for updated family photos to include with the annual Christmas cards.
Parents of small children (and big) love them because they require the least amount of time spent in front of the camera (20-30 minutes) and you still get a variety of images to choose from. Any mother of a 2-year old knows the tremendous value of a photo mini-session!
Over the next few weeks I will try to share with you a few of the families that took advantage of my Christmas mini-sessions this past Fall.
First up is a family that came to me as a referral by a mutual friend and in our first session together I knew THIS was a special couple! The love and adoration they have for one another was immediately evident and they’re just such sweet, kind and caring people – the kind of people you would love to hangout with (and I wish they lived closer so maybe we could!).
You may remember them from their little guy’s newborn session in 2012…but my look how he’s grown!
I had a great time trying to keep up with him and get some images for their family Christmas card and walls. Thank you H family for trusting me again with your family’s photos!
Oh my – what little boy doesn’t love snuggles with his mom and flying high with daddy?!
Jennie is a talented photographer, writer and family documentarian herself, I’d highly recommend you checking out her blog Jennie Rose and learning more about their lovely life!
